# What Is a Project Name and URL on Vefogix and How Do You Add One?

When placing an order on Vefogix, you'll be asked to select an existing project or create a new one by entering a Project Name and Project URL. If you're placing an order for the first time, you may wonder what these fields mean and what information you should enter.

A **project represents the business or brand you're placing orders for**. The Project Name helps you identify the business, while the Project URL is its website address. This allows you to keep orders and SEO campaigns for the same business organized under one project.
## How to Create a Project While Placing an Order

You don't need to create a project separately before placing an order. You can add one directly during the ordering process.

1. Sign in to your Vefogix account and select the service or website you want to order.
2. Proceed to the order and find the Add Project section.
3. Select an existing project if you've already created one for that business, or choose the option to add a new project.
4. Enter the Project Name and Project URL.
5. Complete the remaining order requirements and click **Order Now** to submit your order.

### Example: What Should You Enter?
Suppose you're placing [guest post or press release orders](https://www.vefogix.com/task-create/) for Vefogix. You can enter the following details:

* **Project Name:** Vefogix or Link Building Marketplace
* **Project URL:** <https://www.vefogix.com/>

You can choose any clear project name that helps you identify the business. Just make sure the URL points to the correct website.
## Do You Need to Create a New Project for Every Order?

No. Once you've created a project for a business, you can select the same project when placing future orders for that business.

[Projects](https://www.vefogix.com/projects/) also make it easier to manage campaigns across different services. You can associate guest post orders, press release orders, and other marketplace purchases with the relevant business project.
You can also access available order reports, exports, and task summaries to review your campaign activities.

For example, if you're managing guest posts and press releases for the same website, you can associate all those orders with one project. If you're managing another client's website, create a separate project to keep their campaigns and SEO information organized independently.

Create a new project when you need to manage a different business, brand, or website separately.
## Get More From Your Project with Free SEO Audits

One of the key benefits of creating a project on Vefogix is access to **free SEO audit features** through your Buyer Dashboard. Instead of using your project only to organize orders, you can also use the available tools to understand your website's SEO performance and identify areas for improvement.

Navigate to **Buyer Dashboard → My Projects** and select your project to access the available details and tools.

These features may include:

* Website SEO overview and performance metrics
* Keyword rank checking and rank tracking
* SEO and backlink audits
* Competitor SEO analysis
* Google performance data integration
* Previous keyword check history
* Guest post, press release, and marketplace order reports and exports
* Task summaries for organizing and tracking SEO activities

These tools can help you better understand your website's current position, evaluate potential SEO gaps, and make more informed decisions about your SEO campaigns.

**Tip:** Use correct project url for each business or website you manage. This makes it easier to organize orders, track campaign activities, and access the relevant project details from your Buyer Dashboard.
