Backlink Monitor: Track, Analyze, and Manage Your Links
The Backlink Monitor on Vefogix is a powerful tool that helps you keep track of backlinks—both your own and your competitors’. You can check link status, anchor text, link quality, and even find harmful links. Everything you need is in one place.
What Is the Backlink Monitor?
The Backlink Monitor lets you watch and analyse all backlinks pointing to any website. With it, you can:
- Track competitors’ backlinks
- Analyse link type, link source, keywords, and anchor text
- Check if backlinks are live, lost, or changed
- Measure link quality using Health State, WR Score, and Spam Score
- Use filters to quickly find important backlinks
It’s your main tool for keeping your backlink profile clean and understanding what your competitors are doing.
How to Open the Backlink Monitor
- Log in to your account on Vefogix.com.
- On the left menu, scroll down and click Backlink Monitor.
- You will arrive at the Link Health Monitor / Tracker screen.
How to Add Backlinks to Track
- Click Add to Tracker (top-right corner).
- Enter the domain you want to track.
- Add the backlinks you want the system to monitor.
- Click Add to Monitor.
After this, the Backlink monitor will automatically crawl and analyze all the backlinks you entered.
What Information Will You See?
Once your backlinks are added, you’ll see a table with important details:
1. Domain
The website that links to your site.
2. Target Page
The exact page on your website (or a competitor’s website) that receives the backlink.
3. Anchor Text
The clickable text used in the link.
4. Link Status
Filter backlinks based on their status
Active – The backlink is live and working.
Removed – The link no longer exists on the source page.
Broken (404) – The link leads to a page that returns a 404 error.
Redirected (3xx) – The link redirects to another URL.
**Not Found **– The system couldn’t find the backlink on the page.
Not Checked – The backlink has not yet been checked.
5. Health State
Shows the quality of the link:
Healthy – safe and good
At Risk – may have issues
Toxic – harmful or spammy
6. Link Type
Filter backlinks based on changes in their link type:
No Change – The link type hasn’t changed.
Any Change – Shows all links that experienced any type change.
Dofollow → Nofollow – The link changed from dofollow to nofollow.
Nofollow → Dofollow – The link changed from nofollow to dofollow.
Changed to Sponsored – The link was updated with a Sponsored attribute.
Changed to UGC – The link was updated with a UGC (User-Generated Content) tag.
7. WR Score
A score showing the authority or strength of the linking site.
8. Spam Score
Shows if a link may come from a spammy or low-quality source.
Using Filters to Find What You Need
The Backlink Monitor has strong filtering options to help you quickly find important data. You can filter by:
- Link status (live, lost, changed, etc.)
- Health State (healthy, at risk, toxic)
- Link type
- Anchor text or keyword
- Monitoring age
- Last checked date
- Source
- IP / ASN risk
- Only changed links
Filters help you quickly spot new, risky, or valuable backlinks.
